The Kill Team Chronicles: 75% Completed!

The Kill Team Chronicles:  75% Completed! We are back with another edition to our Blog, this time were are going to discuss the updates and additions to our Warhammer 40,000 Kill Team series: The Kill Team Chronicles. Last time, we showcased half of our Kill Teams that have been completed. Now its time to showcase the latest Kill Teams that have been completed.  The Wild Hunt Dark Angels Space Marines Up first, we have the Wild Hunt, our studio's Dark Angels Space Marine Kill Team. If you recognize these miniatures, its because they're from the Dark Vengeance starter box for Warhammer 40,000 7 th Edition. I am always surprised how quickly I can paint Space Marines, regardless of the type. They are very simple army to paint up and I can imagine why they are so popular with hobbyists. I cranked this squad out in 2 hours. The longest time I spent on them was letting the models cure after I oil washed them.  Waaaghpokeylipz Now! Orks Kill Team B...

The Kill Team Chronciles: The Half Way Mark!!!

Since deciding to take on a Warhammer 40k:  Kill Team Campaign, I've been working furiously to get my gaming group's kill teams ready to go and painted up.  So far, after about two weeks of work, we are officially at the half way point of our work. The Kill Team Chronicles: It has begun!!!

So as of late, my friends and I have decided to give Warhammer 40,000:  Kill Team a try.  About half of my gaming group is hesitant about trying Warhammer 40k, but are okay with dropping a few bucks for a Kill Team or two. Below is the list of the Kill Teams in our campaign "The Kill Team Chronicles" and the work progressed so far: The Golden Scions Thousand Sons Kill Team Kill Team Dothros Deathwatch Kill Team The Wild Hunt Dark Angels Space Marine Kill Team The Cradle of Filth Death Guard Kill Team The Red Faction Genestealer Cults Kill Team The Obsidian Brotherhood Black Legion Chaos Space Marine Kill Team The Indomitus Crusade Ultramarine Primaris Kill Team The Chosen Crimson Slaughter Chaos Space Marine Kill Team Precinct 13 Adeptus Arbites Enforcers (Tempestus Scions) Kill Team The Suicide Squad Astra Militarum (Necromundan Penal Corps) Kill Team Those there you have it, ten hardcore...

The Kill Team Chronicles: In the Beginning...

In the beginning, my original plan for my channel was to include a series of Warhammer 40,000 Battle Reports.  My friends and I never really played 40k before, although we were very aware of it, mainly sticking to Fantasy Battle. Then in 2015, the world of Warhammer imploded with the release of Warhammer Age of Sigmar, changing the entire landscape and nature of miniatures war gaming for Games Workshop products... So when Warhammer 40,000 went through the same change with 8th edition in 2017, my friends and I gave it a go. Hence, the Longest War was born. The Longest War is our channel's Warhammer 40,000 Battle Reports.  So far, we've had a blast fighting against the dark corners of the Imperium.  The only problem that I am facing is that only a handful of my friends like to play this game.  Because of this, our selection of armies to fight is pretty limited.   But then, came Kill Team! Concentrating primarily on Squad based combat betwe...

Rise of the Red Faction - Necromunda Genestealer Cult Gang

Back in May, 2001, an awesome video game hit the shelves called "Red Faction".  It was the first title I purchased for my Playstation 2, and I really loved this game.  It had everything:  awesome graphics, unique gameplay, an original story; the works.   But quality I loved about this game the most was the "ambience" or the feeling you had while playing it.  There was this real subversive quality to the setting, that even though everything was supposed to be normal - there was something inherently wrong with the world your character lived in.  From the propaganda posters and graffiti on the walls, to the announcements heard over the intercoms, and all the way to the preternatural/ alien hybrid of nano-technology affecting the miners, it really registered with me emotionally.   So when the time came to add a new gang to my channel's Necromunda:  Underhive Wars Series, I knew exactly what gang I needed to add: ...
