Necromunda: Anarchy Road Pt.I

One of the coolest things about Necromunda is a hobbyist's ability to convert, create, and build new miniatures, terrain, and customizations to the gangs fighting in the Underhive.  Any true hobbyist fill find all sorts of new ideas and methods to create some unique projects for this gaming system.

One of the things I really wanted to add was vehicles - fueling my Post-Apocalyptic/ Mad Max inspired fever dreams.  As of today, I embark on the first step of that journey.  I present to you the latest additions to my Necromunda Collection.

Necromunda:  Anarchy Road

Below are some of the vehicles that I've completed so far.

The Magus Limo

Up first is the notorious "Magus Limo" the vehicle made popular by early Genestealer Cults miniatures from the 80's and 90's of Warhammer 40,000.  I just used a simple 1/42 scale toy care and painted it up as a rusted and weathered Limo for the Darkest Millennium.

The Tetanus Wagon

Next is the Tetanus Wagon, a rusting squealing hulk and bulk cargo truck.  I imagine this thing being used as a primitive troop transport, screaming across the wasteland to deliver its rotting payload.  This is a 1/42 scale toy ambulance.

The Rust Hulk

Then there is the Rust Hulk, a 1/32 scale Armored Car painted up to be a makeshift troop transport in the hellish wastes of Necromunda.  I based it off the same color scheme of the armored cars in Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V).

Zombieland

This is a 1/32 scale toy Hummer H2 I got from the Dollar Store.  I was really inspired to paint this vehicle up like the Hummer H2 in the movie "Zombieland" staring Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, Woody Harrelson, and Jessie Eisenberg.  I really like the way the weathered yellow paint job came out!

Lawmaster I

Now for something for the cops of Necromunda.  Lawmaster I is a 1/32 scale toy police SUV.  Painted in up the Black and Red of the Adeptus Arbites Enforcers.  I can imagine Judges riding these things and getting into the thick of it.

Lawmaster II

The 2nd Adeptus Arbites Enforcer vehicle, the Lawmaster II.  Another toy 1/32 scale police SUV.  Painted up in the Black and Red of the Enforcers.  I love the lift kit on these two vehicles.

The V8 Interceptor

And of course, for any true Mad Max fan, a V8 Interceptor.  This was originally a 1/32 Scale Radioactive Racer from Hot Wheels.  To be honest, it's a little too big for the miniatures, but I just help myself, it looked too cool!

So that's it for the first round of Necromunda:  Anarchy Road.  I plan on converting and painting up more vehicles as time goes.  Until next time, keep classy!  Peace out!
